Privacy policy

1. What we collect

There is no sign-up and no account to create. The only information we hold is what you choose to tell us on WhatsApp, Telegram or LINE:

• Your messaging app name or account (the only way we have to contact you)
• What you are planning: dates, times, number of people, and the area or venue you want
• Pickup and drop-off points or flight and ferry details needed for transfers
• Any other preferences you share, such as language or budget range

We never ask for ID documents, your home address or card numbers. If anyone asks you for these in Hao Macau's name, stop and contact us to check.

2. How we use it

Only to arrange and confirm your booking: passing the necessary details to the venue or driver, checking details with you, and letting you know if plans change. We do not use your information for marketing unrelated to your booking.

3. Who we share it with

Only as far as your booking needs, and only with the parties directly involved in that trip:

• The venue you chose: usually just a surname or name, arrival time and number of people
• The driver: pickup and drop-off points and times

We do not sell, rent or swap your personal information, and we do not pass it to advertisers or data brokers.

4. Cookies and analytics

This site uses no tracking cookies and no third-party advertising tags. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics only to count overall visits; it sets no cookies, creates no cross-site identifier and cannot identify individual visitors. Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your own browser's localStorage and never sent to us. Maps on the venue and contact pages are embedded from OpenStreetMap; when a map loads, your browser makes a request to that service, and its own privacy policy applies.

5. How long we keep it

Chat conversations are kept for a reasonable period after your trip so we can handle follow-up questions or disputes, and then deleted. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.

6. Your rights

You can ask at any time to see the information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. Just ask in the same messaging app you used to contact us, or email privacy@haomacau.com, and we will deal with it within a reasonable time. Because we have no account system, we use the conversation itself to confirm who you are.

7. Links to other sites

Some pages link to venues' official websites, Google Maps and messaging apps. Once you leave this site, their privacy policies apply, and we have no control over how they handle your information.

8. Minors

Our services are for adults only. We do not knowingly serve minors or collect their information.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We will mention any major change the next time you contact us.
