Booking

How do I book through Hao Macau?

Tell us your budget, the area you have in mind and your timing on WhatsApp, Telegram or LINE. We reply straight away with the venue that suits you on the day and arrange your transfer once you confirm. There is no agency fee at any point.

I arrive in Macau late at night. Will anyone reply?

Yes, someone replies 24 hours a day. Many venues are open all night, so landing or crossing late is no problem. Asking us which ones are still open is the most practical way to find out.

Why book through Hao Macau instead of going direct?

Walk in on your own and it is hard to know which venue is on form that day. Book through us and you get free transfers and add-on offers, and most importantly you know the price and the setting before you go, so there are no unpleasant surprises.

Prices

How are prices worked out? Will the price go up on the day?

Every venue has its own price list. We quote the venue's listed price for that day, and what we quote is what you pay; it will not go up at the last minute. We do not print full price lists on the site because venue prices and offers change often; messaging us for a live quote is the most accurate way.

Are bridge tolls included? Do you charge extra for traffic or border delays?

The quote includes bridge tolls and border-related fees, and we explain what is covered before you get in. Waiting you cannot control, such as traffic or border queues, is not charged, and nothing is added after the quote. Only if you add stops, change the route or extend the trip a lot along the way do we agree an adjustment with you first.

Transfers and cars

How do transfers work? Are they really free?

When you book a venue through us, transfers anywhere in Macau are free: hotels, border crossings and ferry terminals all work. Confirm the time and place before you set off and we arrange the car. Cross-border cars (towards Hong Kong or Zhuhai) are a separate service, quoted by route.

What do I need for a cross-border car?

Bring valid travel documents (the Exit-Entry Permit for Hong Kong and Macau, or a passport with the required endorsement) and that is all. On direct cross-border routes you stay in the car through the border. On pickup routes the driver agrees the exit gate with you in advance, so you see the car as soon as you walk out.

What is the difference between a cross-border car and a border pickup?

A car with dual plates can drive from Hong Kong city straight to your Macau hotel lobby: you never get out and never move your bags between vehicles, which suits larger groups, lots of luggage or travelling with older relatives or children. A border pickup means one car takes you to the crossing on the Hong Kong side and, once you are through, another car collects you in Macau. It costs less, but you cross and change cars yourself. For a small group travelling light that wants to save a little, the pickup is enough.

How long does a private car from Hong Kong to Macau take?

By road over the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge, Hong Kong city to a Macau hotel usually takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on where you are picked up, the crowds at the border and traffic on the day. Weekends, long holidays and evening peaks are slower, and when we quote we flag any likely wait based on your departure time.

How many people fit in one car, and is there room for luggage?

A 5-seat saloon suits 1 to 3 people with up to two suitcases. The 7-seater (MPV) has separate second-row seats and a folding third row, and is most comfortable for 4 to 6 people with luggage. If your group is on the borderline, tell us how many bags you have and how big they are; we will suggest going up a size rather than let you find out at the kerb that it does not fit.

How far ahead should I book a car?

On weekdays a day ahead is almost always enough. Weekends, public holidays and big events are busier, so three to five days ahead is safer. You can also ask on the day: we reply with the vehicles and times we can genuinely still arrange, rather than say yes first and keep you waiting.

Can I get a car for a late-night flight or an early-morning crossing?

Yes. Airport transfers and cross-border cars can be arranged late at night and in the early hours. If your flight is delayed we adjust to the actual landing time, so you are never left waiting outside. Give us your flight number when you book and the driver will follow the flight's status.

Payment

Do the venues take renminbi or WeChat Pay?

All the venues we work with accept cash, cards, WeChat Pay and Alipay, so there is no need to change money into patacas. For transfers and private cars, how to pay is explained with the quote.

Changes and cancellations

Can I change the time or cancel at short notice?

Yes. If your plans change, tell us before the booking starts and you can reschedule or cancel with no fee. Someone answers even if you change plans late at night.

How it works

It is my first time at a Macau sauna. How does it work?

The usual flow: check in and change, soak in the baths and use the sauna, rest and eat in the lounge, then choose the package that suits you. Listed prices and how things work differ from venue to venue, so before you set off we explain it all against your budget, and you will not arrive confused.
